This
screen allows MIMS users to update MIMS records to reflect externally initiated
court activity (notices of motion).
Prerequisites:
The following actors
have the ability to update:
· Compliance 5 Agent
· MEP Senior Management
· SIU Agent
· System Administrator
Letters:
· L11 – Notice of Motion Received Letter (see glossary of letters for letter sample)
·
A letter is
generated to the primary creditor if the type of court event being added is
‘Notice of Motion – Debtor’.
·
A work task is
issued to the Administrative Assistant to retain counsel if Intervention is
required.
·
A work task is
issued to initiator of Court event to prepare brief if Intervention is
required.

If
file number is unknown, press the Search button, this will allow a search using
other criteria. Link on the required file number to auto populate the MEP File
number and press the Get button

If
the file number is known enter a file number and press the Get button.
3.
Select
the appropriate Court Location.
4.
Enter
the Court Date in the Date field.
5.
Select
the appropriate time from the Time drop down list.
6.
Select
the appropriate type from the Type drop down list.
7.
Indicate
if Intervention is required or not

a Bring Forward Date

any applicable remarks if required.

will be issued to the Collection tool reminder once bring forward date has
arrived. Cannot
exceed 60 days. |
